Title Appointment of Warren Burger as Chief Justice (1969)
Description Nixon attempts to pack the court with his own political nominees by appointing Warren Earl Burger, a strict "constructionist" such as himself as Chief Justice. Warren Burger's stance on Law and Order, segregation, race and civil rights are discussed as well as the general direction of the court and its shift from "centralism".
